Telehealth

We offer Telehealth

Telehealth is the practice using technology to deliver clinical services from a provider to a patient. The Covid-19 crisis has expanded availability for the use of telehealth to allow for increased patient access to their healthcare providers. While there are medical and health concerns and disorders that need to be evaluated in the office, there are many issues that can be handled via telehealth.

At The SHOW Center, we use a HIPAA compliant telemedicine solution called Spruce. Patients can click the links from either a smart phone or a computer with a camera and a microphone once a link is sent.

It is important to note that telehealth may not be able to offer the same type of service that might be received at an in-person visit. However, with the widespread use and coverage of telehealth now, we are able to offer a clinical encounter that would not otherwise be an option during this current crisis.

Some of the issues that can be discussed via a telehealth visit include:

  • Menopause/hormone imbalance

  • Sexuality counseling/couples counseling

  • Birth control counseling

  • Irregular bleeding

  • Low libido

  • Pelvic pain

  • PCOS

  • Pain with Sex

  • Endometriosis

  • Pre-Conception Counseling (Family Planning)

  • UTI/Bladder Infections
